I've eaten here a couple times and had a positive experience both times. The food is delicious and the restaurant is frequented by lots of regulars. The staff go above and beyond their job here.

The food is always pretty good here, at least all that I have tried. The service is spotty but for the most part good. Their vegetable beef soup was not good at all! We won't order that again. Chicken fried steak was delicious with real mashed potatoes and plenty of it! However, we were very disturbed that Fox News was on in the bar. Not good when you're trying to enjoy a meal. Maybe turn it to a music station if it must be on at all.

Best bloody mary I have had in a long time. The mushroom Swiss burger was a 10 out of 10! And the fries were crispy no extra salt need. Will definitely go back. Our server was friendly and very attentive.

This unsuspecting diner knocked it out of the park for prime rib night. I was very surprised at the quality of food, the attentiveness of the server and the down home feel and ambiance of the restaurant. Think backyard picnic with your family and friends, a stiff drink, some Johnny Cash playing on the radio and a thick juicy steak. It's America. The chalkboard said 12oz of beef, but we could have shared the prime rib, it was massive. For the price, it can't be beat. Now, I'm a certified steak and bbq judge, so I won't pull that card. But for what it was worth, the prime rib was not too bad. Flavorful and medium rare. Not as tender as I would have hoped, maybe it wasn't as low and slow as I would have done it...but it made us happy enough. Rind was very flavorful. Fat was yummy and melted in my mouth. Nice salad with blue cheese. Delicious Patron Margarita on the rocks. And a slice of cherry pie and ice cream to finish it off. We have so much food left over....French dips are coming up tomorrow at home for lunch. We also bought a cinnamon roll and put it in the fridge. Today it was cut into three thick slices, dunked in farm fresh eggs and grilled in a cast iron skillet. It made the absolute BEST crème brûlée style custard French toast to enjoy at home. WOW We will be back.

You can really tell it's a family run restaurant, and I fuck with that. The food was just what I needed, and the PORTIONS. We got lunch, dinner, and tomorrow's breakfast with just two plates. Wow. Cheerful and buoyant waitresses. I will return.

Breakfast was delicious! All of the food (for 4 of us) came out quickly, hot and at the same time. The portions were generous. The hash browns were done just the way I like them-crispy, not crunchy. The English muffin was perfectly toasted and they had apple butter! The coffee was hot and freshly made. Service was attentive. Bathroom was clean.

Stopped in for coffee and it was piping hot perfection! Friendly service . We will be back for lunch next time . Just traveling through today! The cinnamon rolls are huge and smell delicious!!
